Mainly for an automatic movement that only rewinds in one direction, the oscillating weight can rotate rapidly when it goes in the reverse winding direction and generates sound vibrations that may be considered as excessive. So our engineers designed the ActiGir bearing with its integrated braking mechanism to reduce the noise level caused by the rotor significantly.
