Charly Véya SA, a company renowned for its know-how in high-end stamping for the manufacture of watch cases and oscillating weights, is joining the watchmaking division of the MPS Group.
Thanks to this new entity, MPS Watch is now in a position to offer its customers, in addition to ball bearings and watch movement components, components made by stamping. In particular, MPS Watch will be able to supply complete rotors integrating a high performance ball bearing and an oscillating weight of its own manufacture in precious material.
Charly Véya SA will thus be able to develop its high quality production activity while benefiting from a solid structure that will ensure its continuity. "We found ourselves among people who share the same passion and our common values naturally led to this union", Cyrille and Alain Veya conclude.
An extensive offer
"The complementarity of our know-how is obvious. It will allow us to rapidly develop our offer of complete rotors while reinforcing the current activities of Charly Veya SA" explains Frédéric Chautems, director of the watchmaking division of MPS. Customers common to both companies welcome this union, which is seen as an obvious choice, given the complementary nature of the products and skills.
A fifth site for the MPS Group
Glovelier is the fifth site of MPS. In addition to its headquarters in Biel, MPS currently has two production sites in Bonfol and Court as well as a site in Boston (USA). The Bonfol site in Ajoie produces parts for the watchmaking industry, while the Court site is dedicated to bar turning.
