FTB thin profile DC-Micromotors – more than convincing The centrepiece of each FTB thin profile DC-Micromotor is the ironless rotor with its three flat oval copper coils. It rotates in an axially directed magnetic field with a minimum moment of inertia. The specialists at DR. FRITZ FAULHABER GMBH & CO. KG in Schönaich are responsible for sales, service and support in Germany and abroad. Boasting many years of experience in the specific areas of application of these miniature drive systems, they are able to implement optimal adaptations of standard components to meet customer-specific requirements.
A wealth of experience when it comes to semi-finished products, different materials and designs with special shafts, state-of-the-art lubricants, connections and connectors provides a sound basis for "personalized" drive systems, designed according to customer specifications in the development units of the FAULHABER Group. For example, all types of valve controls can be combined with FTB drive systems. The illustrated drive consists of an FTB thin profile motor from the 0030 series, with integrated encoder, M11 spur gearhead and linear spindle.
The production facilities of FTB thin profile motors have been relocated from Germany to Hungary. FAULHABER Motors Hungaria Kft. (FMH) is a subsidiary of DR. FRITZ FAULHABER GMBH & CO.KG, Schönaich, and already has many years of experience in the development and production of thin profile motors. With this step, FAULHABER is increasing its activities in this technological sector, and is also focusing on a single production centre.
