Founded in 1962, MINIMOTOR SA is active in the research & development, manufacture and distribution on a worldwide scale of miniature drive systems, mainly coreless DC-Micromotors, based on System Faulhaber® technology. MINIMOTOR products are designed to meet the most demanding requirements in all fields of high precision motion and control applications.
Production
Thanks to the constant miniaturisation of the products, MINIMOTOR has a vast know-how in the fields of micromechanics and electronic manufacture. The highly qualified employees are experienced industrial engineers, who constantly improve the manufacturing processes through innovation and further process developments. The proper utilisation of resources ensures a quality-focused, flexible and efficient production, which allows MINIMOTOR to implement the highest possible quality standards.

Our Environment
MINIMOTOR SA is fully conscious of the importance of an attentive protection of environment. Therefore it commits itself to pay particular attention to the environment conservation while selecting and using efficiently raw materials and energy necessary for production, supply and use of the product. Since 1998 MINIMOTOR SA has introduced the environmental management system conforms to the standard ISO 14001.
Furthermore, MINIMOTOR is committed to complying with the European Directive 2002/95/EG - RoHS. This directive ensures that from 1 July 2006, manufacturers of electronic and electric appliances are only allowed to introduce products, which are free from lead, cadmium, mercury, CrVI, PBBs and PBDEs. Despite the huge technological and logistical challenge that this directive brings, MINIMOTOR welcomes it as a valuable and necessary contribution to the protection of public health and the environment.

With its company head office in Switzerland, MINIMOTOR SA coordinates the export activities (except for Germany, USA, Canada and Mexico).
